Affiliated Ministry — Ministries on this site are defined as Christian churches and ministires and are referred to as "affiliated ministries". Chaplains are included in this site under the category of a Local Ministry.
Affiliation — An organizational link between a Global Ministry and a Local Ministry. Members affiliate by joining Local Ministries.
Coupons — Codes issued by Global Ministries to their subordinate and affiliated Local Ministries in place of subscription fees.
Dashboard — A drop-down reference menu that provides selected ministry details at a glance.
Events — Occasions, gatherings or meetings which people attend and/or participate in such as Bible studies, worship services, potluck suppers, training meetings, retreats, seminars, rallies, etc.
Founding Ministries — Seven ministries which developed the concept, and initially funded this social networking site: Cadence International; Military Community Youth Ministries/Club Beyond; Military Ministry, Campus Crusade for Christ International; Military Missions Network; Officers' Christian Fellowship; The Navigators Military Miinistry; and Wycliffe Bible Translators.
Global Ministry — A larger ministry which is formally connected to multiple affiliated Local Ministries.
Local Ministry — A registered church or other local ministry. It may be part of or affiliated with a Global Ministry, or may be independent (and pay subscription fees).
Member — An individual who is serving, has served, or plans to serve in the U.S. military or is a family member, dependent, friend, supporter, or ministry leader of U.S. military.
Nearest Installation, City or Area — Local geographical regions where U.S. military live and serve worldwide.
Opportunities — Openings for individuals to exercise their spiritual gifts and callings on either a volunteer basis—such as leading a small group—or as a paid/supported position—such as serving on the staff of a Christian organization.
Personal Survey — This is a personal survey that each Member is asked to fill out in connection with their registration process. Filling out the survey is optional, however, it is used to help us connect Members with opportunities that best match their interests, skills, experience and location.
